Welcome to the second half of English 9.  It is crazy to think that half the year is already over.  Semester grades are in the books and we are halfway through.  Congratulations! As we look forward to the rest of the school year are you excited? Nervous? Or is it same old same old?

Your pondering journal questions this morning are these:
What is a goal?
Why do you make goals?
Are they useful?
Why or why not?

Day Sixty-One (1/10)

Good morning,

Do you ever wish that you could draw something and then it would magically appear in front of you?  For instance, what if you could draw a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or a fist full of twenty dollar bills and then perform some magic trick and make it real.  How cool would that be?

So, if this was some power that you had - what would you draw and then perform a magic trick and it would be real?  Why would you choose that one item?  How would it help you in the future?
